Three Key Points:

We are all faced with stress in our lives. It is part of the human process. What we do with that stress and how we handle it is instrumental in our physical, emotional, and mental health.

There is much anxiety and in turn, stress when we are injured. First, there is the physical stress that the body experiences. Then there is the emotional stress of the trauma, whatever that might be, and then the mental aspect of the worry of getting healthy and what is to come if I don’t.

There are ways to support yourself in having a healthy life. When we know challenges are inevitable and that isn’t proof of we are broken or that there is something wrong with us, we can navigate the circumstances in a more empowered way.
